Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful fiance JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our clan. Most people know me through my Instagram @annephung, where I share my daily life, highs and lows, as well as everything in between. My family relocated to America. At the age of one quarter I was able to join my parents. With the opportunity to have the best life possible I was determined to try the best I could to please them, and was focused on my success. My goal was to go to school to graduate, and then get an excellent job. And then I wanted to have a family and a wife. I figured that was the definition of success. However, life had other plans to show me what success meant. In 2013, I found it difficult to accept my job. While the pay and the status was great but I did not feel that it was fulfilling. In reality, I thought I was just wasting my time. I had a passion for exercising and enjoyed being social and helping others when I was navigating the new direction in my life. I was drawn to personal training. The business I started was in 2014 and I'll be celebrating seven years of growth in 2021. As an Asian female working in the field, there are very few. It is my goal to become a catalyst within the field to offer quality coaching to empower people to live a more healthy and happier them by creating an environment that is sustainable and meets their personal needs and goals. I am also committed to supporting others so that they are able to achieve their goals, follow their passions and live the life you've always wanted to live. My career exploded as I was enjoying the highest successful times of my life. But, my mom died just as my career took off. The eight years she fought battle with the disease. Now she's resting on Heaven and I'll remain close to her in my heart. There is a lot we can learn from life, even though we might not be able to spot it in the moment. My mom's death changed my life in so many ways and I believe my mom gave me a second chance to be alive through her death. She passed away at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. This was her moment to enter her next life. I had my second chance at living the life of a fulfilled and happy. What I'm experiencing now as I enter my 30s, is an experience of awe and vitality. It's like I'm truly living rather than just surviving. In sharing the tale of my journey, it's in the hope that others will be able to understand my experiences and thoughts. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. Also, that there exists true love. Therapy is a necessity and it isn't uncommon. Finally that health is your biggest wealth. My hope is to live your life at your best and never have regrets when it comes to the final hours of your life. The death of a person is the only assurance in this life.
